capsim logo

Art Advisory, Ltd and Capsim Management Simulations, Inc. are seeking visual art submissions from BFA and MFA students, living in the Chicago area, to be included in bi-yearly corporate exhibitions.

Capsim is a global leader in business simulation technology and services designed to teach business acumen in any learning environment.  They are looking for 5 -10 artists for each exhibition in the Chicago downtown offices of Capsim.  Each artist selected will receive $500 to exhibit their work(s) for 6 months beginning June 1, 2012.  In addition to the stipend, Susan Blackman, President of Art Advisory, Ltd., a full service art consultancy, will conduct a seminar to review their work and their plans for becoming a successful artist.  Also, Capsim will host an opening for the exhibition.  As the exhibition hangs for 6 months and since each piece will be for sale, each artist will have the ability to show their work to prospective clients on a pre-arranged appointment through Art Advisory, Ltd.

Work Media:  All considered
Work Size:    Wall artwork: Maximum size – 8’ x 8’ 100 lbs
Sculpture: Maximum size – 4’ x 2’ 100 lbs

Selection Process:  All work will be carefully reviewed by Susan Blackman of Art Advisory, Ltd. and executives from Capsim.  We will consider each work based on its impact, creativity, style, composition, subject matter, technique, and storytelling.

Once your work is accepted, the work must be:
Framed or mounted with a wire affixed (saw-tooth hangers are
not permitted) and ready to hang.
Frames must be in good shape.
Note:  Entries will be handled with the greatest of care, however, Art Advisory, Ltd. and Capsim assumes no liability for work on its premises.  All works selected for exhibition must be for sale.  We will not take a commission on any sales.  Images selected for the show may be used for promotion of the exhibition now or in the future.
