International ArtExpo is selecting all interesting video/short.films and photo works to include in the next 2012 Exhibition:
Liquid Identities – International Videoart Festival and Photo Exhibition at Scoletta di San Giovanni Battista e del SS. Sacramento in Bragora, Venice (September 28-29-30, 2012)
The deadline for applications is September 10, 2012.
The selections will be based on the main concept of “Liquid Identities” based on fluidity, motion, changing networks and cities transformations. In contemporary society boundaries are getting more and more fleeting, and also the identity; what makes every person or place a recognizable entity, turns out fluid, multiple, making the cultural, religious, ethnic borders changeable too. This change, this mutation has allowed to cross the inside of the identities creating new possible crossings, new blends. And it’s just this “contemporaneity” that makes our civilization conceived as subjected to a process of continuous evolution and cultural hybridization. There is no more limit between an identity and the other one but it is possible to walk, to cross a passage and to find oneself halfway through it, in a non-place, in a non-identity. This project is about temporary roles in changing rules, thinking about liquid borders in new evolving worlds.
The number of works with which you can participate is unlimited.
All video works must be on DVD (PAL or NTSC), no matter what the original source medium. The maximum length of videos should be 10 minutes. All photo works on every kind of support are accepted. The maximum dimensions allowed per each image are 100 cm per side. We need also copy of the CV/biography, videography and some still images (only for video artists) and some samples of photo works (only for artists) through one of the following ways:

The participation in Liquid Identities requires an entry fee for every artwork submitted and selected. Participation open to: professional artists, architects and designers, associate groups and studios.

International ArtExpo offers you the great opportunity to have an art exhibition in Venice, in the beautiful setting of Scoletta di San Giovanni Battista e del SS. Sacramento in Bragora (nearby San Marco square). This ambitious new project is opened to any kind of artist, in fields of painting, sculpture, photography, video art and performing art.
The Scoletta, close to the famous Vivaldi Church San Giovanni Battista in Bragora, is a three floor buildingopened to painting, sculpture and photography exhibitions, the third floor is ready to video art and performing art shows too.
To realize your own solo show, we will provide the following:
.Opening reception – we will organize an opening reception for your solo show
.Promotional web page – we will create a promotional page announcing your solo show with all your contacts
.Exhibition catalogue – a solo show catalog with your bio/press release and images of your art work
.Invitations by email – invitations to your solo show will be emailed to our Press office mailing list of over 80,000 subscribers
.Invitation cards – we will provide you with color exhibition invitation post cards to be mailed by you, and to a select group of International ArtExpo clients
.Press office – It’s LIQUID Group will cover the press office service. Your solo show will be announced in Italian and International art magazines. .Banner advertising – a banner advertising for your solo show will be placed on International ArtExpo website as well as on It’s LIQUID website
It’s LIQUID will manage your relations with the media: print, TV, on-line magazines and will invite critics, writers, curators, dealers and other visual arts professionals to your exhibition.
