Photographers Submit to the National Geographic Public Photo Assignment to Get Your Images in the Magazine

For their 125th anniversary, National Geographic created public photo assignment  inviting photographers from all over the world to submit photographs on the theme “Exploring Our Changing World”.

Prize for those with the most exceptional shots—as well as possible publication in an upcoming issue of the National Geographic magazine.

In the first week alone, the project received over 10,000 photographs—and the curators will select ten images at the end of this week for discussion on a Google+ Hangout scheduled for 1PM EST on 16 October 2013.

To participate submit your photos on the Nat Geo website—plus you can view all the submissions so far, including the most popular ones— here.
