In the UK, View Art Gallery, announced the third year of First Impressions, the exhibition and art award exclusively for students, and are now inviting submissions for First Impressions 2014. The gallery is eager to promote young and aspiring talented artists by offering this opportunity to exhibit in the early stages of their careers.

The past First Impressions winner in 2013, Tim Pavier, exhibited a new collection of work in View Art Gallery and also has limited edition prints available from The View Art Gallery online print shop.
For all artists involved in the process, from submission to exhibition, it is an excellent opportunity to gain experience of working with a commercial gallery.
