An interesting artist funding organization, Franklin Furnace Fund, is based in Brooklyn New York. Franklin Furnace has annually awarded grants to emerging artists selected by peer panel review to enable them to produce major performance art works in New York.  Find the Franklin Furnace Submission Guidelines and Artist Application here.

The town of San Miguel de Allende, in Mexico, has long been a colony of expatriate artists. Read more about the town here.

The Soap Factory, in Minnesota, will be accepting submissions this coming winter for their 2016 exhibition season.

Raid Projects is an artist-run contemporary art space and international artists residency in Los Angeles, California, USA.

The CCCA Canadian Art Database Project is a work in progress with the overall objective of broadening public awareness of contemporary Canadian Art in Canada and internationally, and to document the careers of Canada’s leading professional artists, designers, art writers and curators, as well as some important Canadian art institutions and organizations that have helped shape the Canadian art scene since the 1960s.
