On January 7th, Apple began a series of free art classes in retails stores to teach users iPad sketching techniques and their online gallery Start Something New shows what artists are doing on Apple product. Find out more here.
One of the planned workshops will teach users iPad sketching techniques, while another demonstrates how to use the iPhone’s sophisticated camera to capture artistic images.
Apple is playing catch-up with artists. Hundreds of thousands already receive valuable free iPhone photography instruction via the iPhone Photography School.

Yes, that’s right–the Art Newspaper is mailing out free print copy samples internationally. All you have to do is complete their simple form by filling in your name and address here. Then wait to receive your copy in the mail. I’ve subscribed to their online edition in the past, and I think the subscription was about $75.USD, so excited to learn that I can get a look at a print copy of this high quality UK publication for free.

Poshmark is a new iPhone app for shopping clothing and accessories. Perhaps you have art prints or art products to list.

I forget to ask artists for testimonials. So, I am always pleased when an artist spontaneously decides to send one. Yesterday, I received this unsolicited testimonial–just sharing an excerpt here:
