My name is Alejandro Pardo . I’m the assistant project manager of Call for Bushwick 2014 and I’m writing from New York where we are organizing the International Award Call For Bushwick 2014.

The Contest of this year is ‘Understanding Media: The Extensions of Human Being’

Exhibition Dates: May 30^th – June 1^st

Emerging and established artists are invited to submit installation proposals & artworks in order to participate in a 3 days group show during Bushwick Open Studios 2014 and to be part of an online catalog publication showcasing artists selected by the curatorial board.

All media are accepted.

Our judges will evaluate the artworks based on five criteria:

–  Relevance and ability to conceptualize the topic: ‘Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man.’

–  Aesthetics, originality and creative vision.

–  Artistic research, impact factor and critical background.

–  Technical skills.

–  Potential development in the art world.
