A bit of advance news. this month, Artist Marketing Resources will be sponsoring some exhibitions with Exhibition Without Walls.

The first competition we will be sponsoring is “Your Best.”  This is an open theme competition and allows photographers and digital artists to not have to be confined to a specific theme.

Over the past two weeks, several gallerists have responded positively to the artist e-postcards we sent. More of the participating artists are now lined up for curation into future gallery exhibitions. I can’t share the details, but we’re hitting our stride with our new E-postcard Marketing Plan A and Plan B.

Artist E-Postcard Marketing In September

Each year beginning in September, art galleries re-open and renew their activities after the summer months (June-July-August) when many galleries are closed or operating with reduced staff.

This summer, Artist Marketing Resources started sending-out e-postcards of artists work to select art galleries. Now we are gearing up to send out many more e-postcards in September.

Participating artists include: Karen Fitzgerald, Arthur Kvarnstrom, Jane Dell, dianne k. webb, Michael Krasowitz, Barbara Rachko, Irena Orlov, Alice Harrison, May Jones, Numbers Project, Michelle Benoit, and, Elinore Schnurr.

Plus, we are sharing artist e-postcards on Pinterest and tweeting individual e-postcards using hashtags such as #artcollectors and #buyartonline among others. We’ll be tweeting primarily from our @TransArtGuide and @Artozon Twitter accounts.

We’re Sending Artist E-Postcards Out to Art Galleries

Artists, our latest promotional efforts with our new e-postcard marketing Plan A and Plan B have gotten underway this summer and with great interest! We’re sending E-postcards out to galleries in each of the participating artist’s home states, as well as to art galleries in major art centers such as New York City, London and other cities around the world. Some artists have had gallerist contact them right away after receiving our e-postcards!  We also share artist’s e-postcards on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and on our blog so that they appear in our newsfeed in the ArtWorld app.

Each time we send out a set of e-postcards, we include the clickable link to the artist’s website so that the recipient may view more of the artist’s work.

We’ll be sharing more of these, but for now, here is a sampling of some of our artist e-postcards–

Patricia Van Dokkum, an artist in Germany, sent this simple yet effect graphic Thank You to me via Twitter. Note that this graphic contains a website link to the site www.kleckerlabor.de where you can view examples of her artwork. Patricia sent this thank you to me for re-tweeting her tweets that appeared in my #artistmarket Twitter thread. (Get your tweets re-tweeted by using the hashtag #artistmarket and #artistnews ). Not only did this Thank You graphic appear in my Twitter feed, but Twitter also sent it to me as an email that looked like this:

This very effect visual tool  got me to visit the website, and to write this blog post–which I will tweet and share on Facebook, Google+ etc.
